Acid Pro 6.0 Not Playing Opened Audio?

When I open an audio file in Acid Pro 6.0 it does not play back in my project. I have tried all audio extensions I could think of (mp3, wma, wav) and none of them work. If I record audio in the project, I can play it back just fine. Please Help!
