Is $10300 a semester a LOT for college tuition?

I want to go to LCAD (Laguna College of Art and Design) and I just want to know if this amount is going to make my mom scream. Is it a lot for a college in general and is t a lot for an ART college? I'm going to apply for scholorships and grants too, I'm just wondering.
