Are they considered as dependents?

The only one Arnold can claim is his mother - The grandfather makes $4000 a year (which is more that the limit of $3500) and his "former" mother in law is no longer his mother in law so therefore considered "anybody" and since she doesn't live with him then he can't claim her....poor fictitious guy...guess he's just too nice!
