Why do christians want the ten commandments in front of government offices?

Whey don't they want the Bill of Rights instead? After all the Bill of Rights did more for them than the bible ever did. Freedom of speech and freedom of religion are not in the bible. A Bill of Rights monument, in front of every court house, would be more appropriate.
