Does this sound good together? Ideas?

I think that sounds good, especially with the broth poured sparingly over the rice. As far as a side dish, I don't think you need one, but if you want one, I would suggest blanched carrots, cut julienne (matchstick cut). They would add a nice crisp texture to the dish, some color, and be a refreshing addition. Hope I helped.
