Is there a "Make-A-Wish" type organization for adults with life threatening diseases?

My friend has not been given less than a year to live, in fact she could very well live a long time. But, she is only 20 years old and has had over 14 surgeries in her life time and has battled with cancer and could be about to start that battle again. I just want to be able to do something like this for her. But, I am having a hard time finding organizations for adults that don't have a limited life expectancy.
