Plumbing issue: no hot or cold water coming out at kitchen sink?

water had no pressure and came out very very slow a few days ago. Now NO water comes out. All the other spouts (tub, toilet, bath sink...) are working fine. There is no 'turn off' knob under the sink. I hear no running water under the house. What can it be? Please help. :)
